SPTI South Sound Sales Manager
Direct Reports: Project Executives
Summary
The SPTI Sales Manager role is to lead, manage and support the SPTI sales and engineering efforts in order to meet the growth and operating goals in a sustainable manner while maintaining alignment with overall company goals and core values.
Responsibilities
- Plans organizes, assigns, manages, sets goals, and evaluates sales activities
- Builds annual and long-term plans to ensure alignment with PSF strategic plans
- Coordinates directly with other managers to ensure we are a united front
- Ensures projects are approached, supported, and managed in ways that support the optimum project success
- Leads, directs, monitors, and evaluates department employees and provides recommendations for training and development
- Reviews all sales proposals, and project plans and coordinates any resource requirements across their business unit
- Prepares and administers the budget, including analysis of and forecasting revenue and performance of their business unit and any needed resources for that work
- Provides direction to ensure the SPTI South group meets revenue, gross margin, and budget goals
- Reviews project execution according to budget and margin commitments
- Develops and maintains efficient and effective workflows and systems needed to reach goals
- Completes weekly status review and risk analysis on key projects
- Provides regular updates to the Sales Manager
- Actively participates in Business Development activities
- Encourages and enforces a high level of performance and customer service
- Develops and maintains strong customer relationships
- Recruits, trains, and retains personnel to support growth goals
- Ensures the business unit is an active team member with all other units within PSF
- Collaborates with production superintendents to ensure forecasting is shared to allow proper production levels
- Reviews group's performance to goals related to projects, sales, and overall growth targets.
- Provides positive and active contributors to PSF’s core values and any other duties as assigned
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with the construction industry and basic principles of plumbing and HVAC systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Able to use good judgment and problem-solving skills while striving to work safely at all times.

- A valid license and clean driving record are required
Physical Demands
- Includes: sitting, standing, and bending; repetitive motions of hands and wrists due to frequent computer use
- Able to see, hear well (either naturally or with correction) and speak clearly
- Able and willing to travel
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to climb ladders and walk job sites in uneven terrain
- Must be capable of working extended hour days when job/business needs demand
