We believe in providing a wide variety of services to our clients, allowing for complete coverage of all mechanical needs, specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and plumbing and piping systems, from retail to office, biotech, and high-rise residential.

About the Role

The Service Account Executive is expected to sell HVAC/Plumbing maintenance agreements while providing excellent customer service to existing customers in their territory. This individual is expected to meet performance standards and sales quotas set by the immediate supervisor. Sales leads are generated by cold calling, networking, and other typical forms of new business development.


  • Identify, sell, and negotiate HVAC/Plumbing service maintenance agreements
  • Estimate, generate and present effective sales proposals to new and existing clients
  • Assess the client’s overall energy/cost of operations and apply how our services might reduce these costs
  • Meet and exceed sales activity schedule set by supervisor
  • Schedule customer service meetings to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate contract renewal increases or changes monthly
  • Generate a minimum of $150k in annual preventative maintenance sales
  • Maintain an active sales funnel of $100k
  • Maintain a schedule of FIVE first appointments each week for new preventative maintenance sales
  • Propose on FIVE new preventative maintenance agreements each month
  • Maintain a customer retention rate of at least 94%
  • Develop new clients through networking and seeking referrals from current clients
  • Act in “responsible charge” role with clients and co-workers
  • Resolve client complaints with fast, solution-oriented thinking
  • Develop positive rapport with clients and colleagues that builds constructive and effective relationships
  • Participate in department meetings and submit reports (e.g., expense reports, sales reports, working agreements, activity logs & business plans) in a timely manner

Education & Experience

  • Minimum two years of experience with mechanical systems and/or field experience in HVAC systems (preferred)
  • A college or other technical degree is (preferred)
  • Minimum two years outside sales and customer service experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to see, hear well (either naturally or with correction) and speak clearly
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements that include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, gross & fine manipulation, climbing ladders, crawling attic and other small access spaces and heavy lifting
  • Comfortable navigating heights and unclean spaces
  • Must be capable of working extended hour days when job/business needs demands
