Kiara Apartments

Located at the center of Seattle’s downtown area, this 41-story high-rise tower features 463 apartment units, ground level retail and five levels of subterranean parking. The tower is designed with two outdoor spaces for residents for entertainment, as well as over 15,000 square feet of retail space. Additional amenities include a clubroom with kitchen, a game room, a communal business center and private meeting rooms, a fitness center, and Group Fitness Studio. Kiara also features a large dog lounge with washing stations and a large outdoor dog play area with separate spaces for shy and rambunctious pets.

PSF Mechanical provided all mechanical design-build services and worked closely with the client to make sure that all key goals and requirements were met. Key mechanical systems of this design-build project include a central condenser water system with high-efficiency boilers, closed circuit fluid coolers serving water-source heat pumps, and a ducted outside air system.
