Fleet Region Readiness Center
- Naval Station Everett, WA
- LEED Gold
- Service client since 2009
The Fleet Region Readiness Center is a new 20,000 square foot, two-story naval training facility located in Everett, Washington. Before this facility, personnel were forced to travel to California or Virginia for training. The new center holds offices, classrooms, laboratories, and educational support facilities, including a lounge and conference room, to create a superior educational and training space for US Naval personnel to train locally.
PSF Mechanical provided full mechanical design-build services for the new space, including the installation of a full mechanical room. As the space was designed for LEED Gold certification, extra steps were taken to implement energy saving measures and equipment. Low-flow plumbing fixtures were used throughout the facility, as well as a demand-based ventilation system.
