Seattle Academy STREAM Building
- Seattle, WA
- Service client since 2014
The Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences’ (SAAS) six-story, 35,290 square foot STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Building is a valuable component of the teaching/learning curriculum at Seattle Academy. It provides a hands-on objective link to help the students understand and participate in sustainable design and to help them gain perspective towards developing their skills and career goals in a real versus hypothetical environment. The facility has seven laboratory and studio classrooms, a two-story learning commons, and associated staff offices. The building uses power from photovoltaic panels and has a green roof atop a new breezeway connecting the facility with the Art Building.
